Provide your guesses below. Edit: the Oct 1965 date is a big hint. Edit 2. McMike got it... That is the Apollo 6 Command Module. It is on display at the Fernbank Science Museum in Atlanta. We took the kids to the planetarium there this morning. After it flew it was pretty well scavenged by NASA including all the interior and thrusters. I stuck my phone in a thruster hole (without touching anything!) and took a pick of the inside.

Hood insulation?

Some aero underbelly pan?

I'm guessing these are all taken of some old LeMans car?
Edit: Or maybe a plane. The first picture is making me think maybe aviation.

a type of insulation in that pic, but not hood. Aerospace

Oct 1965 is printed on that little bulkhead.
Cold war something.
Aircraft.
Green color hints at military.
Floor hints at large size.

good catch on the date. It's a big hint, but it is not military.

APU?

I'd say reentry shield, but I'm not sure with the picture with the wiring. That one looks like any number of stuff in cold war aircraft, ocean going craft, or missile interstages/equipment sections.

Heat shield is getting closer, but none of those pics are of the shield.

Is that a heatshield?
Gemini spacecraft?

not Gemini, they are mostly black, but getting close

Is it an X15? Or maybe a Gemini orbiter?

Saturn V wiring and payload fairing?

getting really close!

The first pic. I'm guessing, is something that had a multi-mission role. The bulkhead says 1965 but the modern connectors and instrumentation tells me that it has been upgraded over it's life.
The next pic looks like heat shielding material
The last pic looks like a deck surface of some kinda vehicle.
Are they parts of the Crawler-Transporter?

close' but not quite there. All pics are of the same thing.

From some of the other guesses, it sounds like NASA.
The wear and tear on the floor makes me thing it used quite a bit.
Crawler.
-edit- I just read the rest of the thread, and I see that wasn't it.

NASA. It has to be NASA.
That worn floor surface is really confusing. It's either a static display of a Apollo capsule, and the floor is part of the structure, or it's part of a service structure.
THAT'S ALL I GOT!
